Terms of Use

1. Who you are contracting with

SenchoGo is provided by Ubob Alex Mboma ("we", "us"), c/o IP-Management #12011, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany. By using SenchoGo you enter into an agreement with Ubob Alex Mboma. Contact: info@senchogo.com. Full provider details are in our Imprint.

2. Acceptance

By creating a profile, using SenchoGo or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. The service

SenchoGo is an app for learning Japanese through iconic phrases, audio, tracing and review quizzes. The Free plan includes 3 new Daily Go phrases a day and up to 5 Favorites. Paid plans (Premium, Premium+) increase these limits as shown on our pricing page. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SenchoGo within your plan.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use SenchoGo for anything unlawful, fraudulent or to send spam;
• infringe our or anyone else's intellectual property;
• interfere with the security of the service, spread malware, probe, scrape or overload it;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service or its content, or bypass plan limits.

5. Intellectual property

SenchoGo, including its software, lessons, characters, audio, artwork, logo and branding, is owned by Ubob Alex Mboma or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep SenchoGo running well, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We may change or improve features over time.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SenchoGo is provided "as is" without implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our rules. You can stop using SenchoGo and delete your account at any time in Profile. When your account is deleted, your progress and backups are removed.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; we will show the new date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without depriving consumers of protections under the laws of their country of residence.
